Throughout this holiday season, several organizations, schools, churches and companies have brought holiday cheer to WRAP, providng much-needed funds and items that support survivors, children and families. Thank you to these groups for your compassion and care for those we serve!
Many thanks to the Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority for making a generous donation to WRAP. WRAP Board member and chapter president, Kim Jones, presented the check to Executive Director, Mamie Hutcherson, on behalf of the sorority. Thank you ladies for your support of our mission!
Thank you to Leaders Credit Union's #LeadersWithLove program. Several of their staff stopped by with donations of diapers, hygiene items and clothing to help support survivors and those in our safe homes!
Beta Club students at Madison Academic High School in Jackson donated over 400 pair of socks to WRAP for the winter season! It was such a blessing and joy to have our young people supporting survivors and their children.
The Women in Manufacturing group held their holiday party and as their service project, they collected toys and other donations for children. They will bring so much joy to those families! It was a pleasure connecting with these ladies and learning more about the companies they represent.
Nursing students at the University of Memphis Lambuth generously collected and donated an assortment of hygiene items and home goods that will help survivors start their new lives free from abuse.
For well over a decade, members at Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson have been sponsoring children for Christmas. They take wish lists from these families and become Santa's right hand to bring joy and delight this holiday season!
For several years, Campbell Street Church of Christ in Jackson have held their annual "WRAPped in Christmas" program. This year, members collected age-appropriate items that will create a fun shopping experience for parents to provide presents to their children.
